Ingredients:
- 8oz of brewed coffee (whatever is your favorite)
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 stroopwafel cookie for topping
Directions:
- Prep your whipped cream by whipping it in to a standing mixer with the sugar for about 2- 3 minutes until stiff peaks.
- Line your mug with caramel sauce.
- Pour your coffee into the mug you just lined with caramel sauce.
- Now take your whipping cream and put it on top of your coffee. Add some more caramel sauce on top along with your stroopwafel pieces!
Substituions:
- You can use store baught whipping cream to make this a faster process.
- You can also use regular stroopwafels to make this recipe not gluten free!
Notes:
- Have a stroopwafel on hand to eat with your coffee to complete the experience.
- Try this recipe with other coffee flavours and different coffee roasts to enhance this recipe! (Toffee or a caramel flavored coffee would make a sweeter option)
- Make this recipe a frappe by adding cold coffee to a blender with ice, caramel sauce and some heavy whipping cream. Blend then top with whipped cream, caramel and stroopwafel pieces.
