Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/4 GF Graham Wafer Crumbs (I used PaneRiso Brand)
- 1 Cup of Flaked Coconut
- 1/2 Cup of finely chopped Walnuts
- 4 Cups Icing Sugar
- 6 Tablespoons of Milk
- 4 Tablespoons of Custard Powder
- 4 Tablespoons of Oil
Directions:
- For the base: Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in 1/4 cup graham wafer crumbs, 1 cup flaked coconut and 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts.
- Press evenly into a 9 inch x 9inch pan and chill the mixture.
- For the filling: Mix 4 cups of icing sugar, 1/2 cup of softened butter, 6 tablespoons of milk, 4 tablespoons custard powder. Then Spread onto the fully chilled base and put in fridge to firm up.
- For the glaze: melt 1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 4 tablespoons of oil. Spread evenly over the filling. Chill then cut into squares and serve.
Notes:
- Melt the chocolate in small increments to prevent burning and separation in the chocolate.
Storage:
- Leftovers last about 4-5 days after made.
- This dessert freezes very well and can be made well in advance for christmas.
