Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/4 GF Graham Wafer Crumbs (I used PaneRiso Brand)
  • 1 Cup of Flaked Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup of finely chopped Walnuts
  • 4 Cups Icing Sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons of Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons of Custard Powder
  • 4 Tablespoons of Oil

 

 

Directions:

  1. For the base: Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in 1/4 cup graham wafer crumbs, 1 cup flaked coconut and 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts.
  2. Press evenly into a 9 inch x 9inch pan and chill the mixture.
  3. For the filling: Mix 4 cups of icing sugar, 1/2 cup of softened butter, 6 tablespoons of milk, 4 tablespoons custard powder. Then Spread onto the fully chilled base and put in fridge to firm up.
  4. For the glaze: melt 1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 4 tablespoons of oil. Spread evenly over the filling. Chill then cut into squares and serve.

 

 

Notes:

  • Melt the chocolate in small increments to prevent burning and separation in the chocolate.

Storage:

  • Leftovers last about 4-5 days after made.
  • This dessert freezes very well and can be made well in advance for christmas.
