Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of SOFTENED Butter
- 1 Cup of Icing Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Cornstarch
- 3 Cups of GF Bob Redmill Cup for Cup Flour
- Spinkles for Decoration
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 Degrees F.
- Mix together softened butter and icing sugar. (if the butter is not soft enought the dough will be dry)
- Then add in the cornstarch and slowly and gradually add in the flour.
- Make the dough into small balls aprox. 1 inch thick. Then press down slightly but not too much and add on your festive sprinkles.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Once the cookies have a slight golden color on the edges pull them out and cool them before serving.
Notes:
- You can add nuts, chocolate chips or candy cane ect. as toppings. Or you could keep it traditional and have them as is!
Storage:
- Leftovers last about 4-5 days after made.
- This dessert freezes very well and can be made well in advance for christmas.
