GF Maple Overnight Oats

Servings: 1 Masons Jar Worth

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cups Old Fashioned or Rolled Oats (I used the only oats brand from Ben’s Meats)
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 2 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2/3 Cup Milk or Water

Toppings (Optional):

  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Whipped Cream

 

Directions:

  1. To a medium to large bowl mix: oats, brown sugar, maple syrup, yogurt.
  2. Add Milk into mixture and stir well.
  3. Cover and refidgerate for 3 hours or more.
  4. Once you remove the oats mixture from the fridge check and see if the texture is to your liking. If not add a bit more milk before eatting.
  5. Add your toppings and serve!

 

 

Substituions:

  • You can expiriment with different flavored greek yogurt to make your overnight oats different.
  • You can also add maple extract for a stronger flavor.

Notes:

  • You can adjust this recipe to make your oats more to your liking. Like different extracts for different flavors just keep the base the same.

Storage:

  • Can be left in the fridge for 5 days prior to serving.
