Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cups Old Fashioned or Rolled Oats (I used the only oats brand from Ben’s Meats)
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 2 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 2/3 Cup Milk or Water
Toppings (Optional):
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Whipped Cream
Directions:
- To a medium to large bowl mix: oats, brown sugar, maple syrup, yogurt.
- Add Milk into mixture and stir well.
- Cover and refidgerate for 3 hours or more.
- Once you remove the oats mixture from the fridge check and see if the texture is to your liking. If not add a bit more milk before eatting.
- Add your toppings and serve!
Substituions:
- You can expiriment with different flavored greek yogurt to make your overnight oats different.
- You can also add maple extract for a stronger flavor.
Notes:
- You can adjust this recipe to make your oats more to your liking. Like different extracts for different flavors just keep the base the same.
Storage:
- Can be left in the fridge for 5 days prior to serving.
