Prep Time: 20 Min      Chill Time: 30 Min    Total Time: 50 Min

Ingredients:

  • 2 Packages of Spreadable Gouda (I used Eru Brand found at Bens Meats)
  • 8oz of Shredded Cheddar and Mozza Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon of Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Teaspoons of Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Parsley to garnish
  • Thick Slice of Cheese for the Star Topper

Directions:

  1.  Mix all your ingredients other than your almonds and thick slice of cheese to make the filling of your cheese ball.
  2. Once made grab out some saran wrap and make a round pile in the middle with the filling.
  3. Wrap the ball up and roll into a tree shape.
  4. Remove saran wrap and place your cheese tree upright.
  5. Decorate with almonds and sprinkle with parsley to make it look more like a tree.
  6. Lastly use a cookie cutter to cut out a star shape from your thick slice of cheese and top your tree with it.
  7. Serve immediately or place in fridge until time to use!

Subsitutions:

  • You can use different kinds seasoning and cheese to get a similar cheese ball but with some different flavours. Just keep the ratios the same.

Storage:

  • They last about 3-5 days after made.
  • You can freeze your cheese ball and use on future occasions.
