Prep Time: 20 Min Cook Time: 20 Min Total Time: 40 Min Temp: 350 Degrees F
Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Dinner Rolls (I used the Care brand from Ben’s Meats)
- 6 Slices of Processed Cheese or Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Ib of Ground Beef (I got this fresh from Bens Meats and Deli!)
- 1/2 Cup of Chopped Onion (Optional if you dont like onions)
- 1/2 Can of Chopped Tomatoes (Optional if you dont like tomatoes)
- 1/2 Tablespoon of Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 Tablespoon of Worchestershire Sauce
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Pepper
- 6-9 Strips of Bacon
Topping / Glaze:
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Teaspoon Worchestershire Sauce
- 1Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon of Seasame Seeds
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F
- In a large pan cook your beef and onions on the stove top over medium heat. continue to cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink and is cooked, Making sure to break the ground beef into pieces as you do so.
- While the beef is cooking use your own prefered method to cook your bacon.
- Drain any excess water or moisture from the pan with your beef and add your tomatoes, mustard,worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Cook for about a extra 2 minutes until the beef mixture is fully combined.
- Prepare your buns in either a casserole dish or a baking dish. Cut them in half and evenly place them inside.
- Place your cheese slices on the bottom bun and put in oven to melt the cheese. Pull them out as soon as they are melted.
- Spoon your cooked beef over your buns with the melted cheese and top with cooked bacon and if you want to make this recipe extra cheesey add some additonal cheese.
- Replace the tops of your buns.
- Now melt your butter and add the brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and mustard to make a glaze.
- Spoon the glaze on top of your buns and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
- Put the buns in the oven uncoverfed for approximately 20-25min (time may vary depending on your oven) until the top is browned and cheese melted.
- Pull out of oven and serve!
Storing:
- Leftovers last 3 days in the fridge. For optimal storage put your ground beef mixture in a seperate container and bake ontop of buns when you are wanting to reheat them.
