GF Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 – 2 Ibs of Cut up Beef Sirloin 1 Inch Cubes (I got from Bens Meats)
  • Seasoning
    • 1 Teaspoon Salt
    • 0.5 Teaspoon Black Pepper
    • 1 Teaspoon Of Garlic
    • 0.5 Teaspoon Onion Powder
    • 0.5 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 White Onion Diced
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Tablespoons GF Cup 4 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Low Sodium Beef Broth ( I used Imagine Organic Beef Broth from Bens Meats)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce (I used the Wizard Brand from Bens Meats)
  • 1.5 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon of Water
  • 3 Tablespoons of Cornstarch
  • 1/2 Cup of Sour Cream
  • 1 Package of GF Jovial Tagliatelle Egg Noodles (From Bens Meats)
  • Parmesan Cheese to Garnish

 

 

Directions Instant Pot:

  1. In a large bowl mix your seasoning and beef making sure to evenly coat it.
  2. Place beef and oil in insant pot and turn onto sautee setting. Sear the meat until evenly browned.
  3. Add the onions and butter to your instant pot until the onions are softened.
  4. Add garlic to instant pot and let cook for only 30 seconds.
  5. Add the flour to your pot and make sure your beef is evenly coated.
  6. Mix the Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon Mustard and 1 1/2 Cup of Beef Broth. Then pour over your meat in the instant pot.
  7. Close and lock your instant pot lid and make sure its sealed and the pressure valve is closed. Then press manual and high pressure and set your time to 13 minutes.
  8. In a seperate bowl make a cornstarch slurry by mixing the cornstarch and water.
  9. Also while your meat is cooking prep noodles or mashed potatoes that you will top with your Beef Stroganoff.
  10. When it is done  cooking let the pressure fully release on the instant pot before opening about 10 minutes.
  11. Once you open your instant pot add your sour cream to the mixture in your pot and stir.
  12. Now add your cornstarch surry that you made to you mixture so that you can thicken your sauce!
  13. Serve the Beef Stroganoff over noodles or mashed potatoes, garnish with parmesan cheese and serve!

  3. Add the onions and butter to your instant pot until the onions are softened.
  4. Add garlic to your pan and let cook for only 30 seconds.
  5. Add the flour to your pan and make sure your beef is evenly coated.
  6. Mix the Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon Mustard and 1 1/2 Cup of Beef Broth. Then pour over your meat in the pan.
  7. Let simmer for about 10 to 15 min.
  8. In a seperate bowl make a cornstarch slurry by mixing the cornstarch and water.
  9. Also while your meat is cooking prep noodles or mashed potatoes that you will top with your Beef Stroganoff.
  10. When the meat is done cooking add your sour cream to the mixture in your pot and stir.
  11. Now add your cornstarch surry that you made to you mixture so that you can thicken your sauce!
  12. Let simmer until thickened to desired consistency.
  13. Serve the Beef Stroganoff over noodles or mashed potatoes, garnish with parmesan cheese and serve!

 

 

Substituions:

  • You can use mashed potatoes or any other desired noodles to serve the stroganoff over.

Notes:

  • This meal serves about 4-6 people.

Storage:

  • Leftovers last 3-4  days in the fridge.
  • This meal freezes well.
